Saffron: Cool & dry, exhilarating

Exhilarating in a soft navigational way, mood elevator. Kind of like sipping sunshine.

Rosa / Rose spp: Cool & dry, Relaxing

Helps with mental exhaustion and the over run emotional state leading to the tears that seem to just happen. Rose is delightful yet astringent, like sitting in a garden with the warm sun and a cool breeze, comforting you while drying up the wet boggy soil.

Tilia cordata / Linden: Moistening, soft, relaxant, trophorestorative, warm/cool

Oh sweet Tilia this herb is just one of my favorites, she eases the anxious state while nourishing the heart. You can feel her nourishing qualities as soon as you sip on the tea or take the tincture.

Crataegus monogyny / Hawthorn:Berries: Warm, sweet & sour

A premier heart herb, he will actually steer other herbs towards the heart. Hawthorn is cardiac tonic and will tone the heart muscle, dilates the coronary arteries and increase circulation without affecting blood pressure

Theobroma Cacao: drying / cooling

That taste and ceremonial pick me up that elevates the mood. Known to clear mental heat. Cacao does have caffeine in it naturally a small amount but present none the less

Leonaurus: Diffusive, stimulating, cardio tonic, nervine, antispasmodic, emmenagogue, sedative to the heart. Very calming and grounding herb, it kind of quiets the noise so that one can ground the heart space.

Cinnamon ceylon / Cinnamon verum: Warm / dry. This aromatic bark is astringent and known to be anti-inflammatory, helping to increase circulation while decreasing blood sugar. She is a wonderful flavoring agent as well.

Corinadrum sativum / Coriander: Cool / dry

Typically utilized in the culinary world but also traditional medicine. Coriander is known to be a cardioprotective agent and host anti-inflammatory components. This herb also aids in softening anxiety and in relaxing the nervous system while protecting it. Historically used as an aphrodisiac due to its gentle exhilarate effect, opening up the channels for blood flow

Zanthoxylum / Prickly ash: Hot / dry. Stimulating

Prickly ash is a strong circulatory stimulant and aids in carrying things out to the periphery, this will also help to break open any stuck chi.

Vanilla planifolia / Vanilla bean: Warm / uplifting yet neutralizing

A taste most associate with joy that also has added medicinal touches like soothing inflammation and tension.

Cayenne: warming / diffusive
